- The GTA is now the child poverty capital of Ontario: 50% of Ontario's children in poverty now live in the GTA.¹ In the Toronto Region, more than 313,000 children are impacted.² 600 of them will have the opportunity to go to Moorelands Camp this summer.
- Noted author Malcolm Gladwell in his most recent book, "Outliers"(pages 258-9), states that
- "Virtually all of the advantages that wealthy students have over poor students are the result of differences in the way privileged kids learn while they are NOT in school…He (a wealthy student) gets taken to museums and gets enrolled in special programs and goes to summer camp, where he takes classes… There's no money to send her (the little girl affected by poverty) to summer camp."

- Rain poncho
- 'Flip-Flop' footwear for boys size M-L and adult S,M,L for males
- Insect repellant with DEET - non-aerosol
- Sunscreen - SPF 30
- Water based hand sanitizer
- Flashlight - disposable
- Sleeping bag
- Single, fitted sheet
- Stainless or nalgene bottle
- Girls bathing suits sizes 12 to adult large
- Boys bathing suits sizes 8 to adult

- New PFDs (personal flotation devices) 50-90 lbs size
- Water noodles
- Flutter boards
- Fox 40 whistles
